It's been quite a while since I've written a post here. You could say that's one of my new year's resolutions :)

Just checking it to say hello to the interwebs. Just updated/ cleaned out the face paint and body paint galleries on my web page and updated my listing with Party Pop for the year. Looking forward to lots of paint & make up this year!!

Halloween is over, phew! what a busy, crazy, exciting month October was!!

November, while still busy, is a bit more steady and predictable. I've got football events, children's parties, tennis events, henna events all on the books for this month and of course will still be painting at Kids night every wednesday from 6- 8 PM at Lucille's Bad to the Bone BBQ in Boynton beach!

Oh!!! addition to the Lucille's kid's night, I will be painting little faces for All About Entertainment at Chick-fil-a's kids night in lauderhill on Tuesday the 9th as well! please come out and have some food and fun with your kids!

FYI www.allaboutentertainmentinc.com is a GREAT place to find top quality performers of all kinds in the south FL area.

Halloween update

So its still 10 days away but i'm *almost* totally booked!!

I have only a few spots open on Oct 31st. I'll be set up at SillyFarm in West Broward and taking appointments through my Agent Kristina @ 954-472-5000

YES I can paint you on the 29th but ONLY if we are finished by 5pm
NO I can't squeeze you in on the 30th no matter what, I'm sorry.

I feel so terrible turning people down when they call :( sadly I can only be at one place at one time. All the other artists I know, trust and recommend in the south FL area are also all booked for the 29th and 30th (though a couple do have some time on the 31st too)

Halloween is the biggest weekend of the year for Face and Body paint. Next year call us early and we'll try to fit in as many awesome paintings in as we possibly can!

HALLOWEEN BODY PAINTING

It's about that time again when the crazy costume ideas are brewing in everybody's minds... Devils, vampires, skeletons and Na'vi (from avatar) will be all over the place this year! Halloween is on the way!!!

So far I've gotten a few bookings on the 30th but may be able to squeeze in one or two more. Since I ended up driving all over the place last year I have decided to anchor myself in one spot and have an agent book me as many appointments as she can throughout the day!! art shows & no kids night

Hello bloggy bloggertons,

Just wanted to put a little note out there that my kid's night face paint & balloons is not happening tomorrow (sept 8, 2010) due to the Jewish Holiday.

Also, I'll be painting a body as a live demo at 'The Bubble' in fort lauderdale on Saturday Sept 11. The show starts at 7Pm and there is a $10 cover. I am told for that cover you get "music, art & drinks." The theme is Conspiracy so it should be pretty cool.

the following day Sunday Sept 12, I am painting 2 padies for a burlesque show at Blue Jeans in fort lauderdale :)

Hello interwebs.

I keep forgetting to update here. I've got my Twitter and Facebook going strong though so if you're interested please follow me at either or both of those places too!

Been pretty busy the last couple of weeks at Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry, working more on the BCABPP, and some private parties as well. This coming weekend I'll be working with The Mike Sipe for a BIG back to school event out at Sawgrass Mills mall so be sure to bring the kids out for some free face painting (by me!!) and other cool activities.

A full day of Fun, comedy and Circus in the Grove.
Grand Avenue will be closed to traffic so the performers and YOU can take to the streets!!

Saturday July 3rd 2010:

First show is at 11:00 AM. Featured performers include:

-Famed Wire Walker Will Soto from Mallory Square

-Ex Cirque du Soleil Hand Balancer Cory Tabino

-The Rainbow Circus will bring a free standing aerial rig and perform static trapeze, hoop, and silks.

Also featuring a variety of stilt walkers, magicians, balloon artists, face painters, jugglers and more. Shows will run throughout the day from 11AM until 8PM.

This event will be fun for the Whole Family!!

All Star Circus will also be onsite offering FREE classes in juggling, hooping, poi spinning and selling circus equipment.

Getting ready to head to One Mode Place Studio and Meet up with Michael Colanero and another beautiful survivor for a new painting & photo for the Breast Cancer Awareness Body Paint Project. This one will have something to do with Kiwi and Maori style markings :)

I was painting faces at this year's FL supercon. Thank you to Docking Bay 94 for letting me set up shop in THEIR shop upstairs. I stayed pretty busy with the face painting so I didn't get a ac hance to see much but I had a great time!

Thanks to some awesome friends of mine I'll be painting people at this year's Supercon!! Unfortunatley, due to schedule conflicts, I'll only be there saturday. YAY!!! I'll be painting at Supercon on Saturday June 19!

Get ready to get your anime and comic faces on! Spiderman, Batman, Cat Woman, Harley Quinn, Dark Phoenix, Anime cat girls(bunny girls or panda girls too!), Venom, Carnage, The Hulk, Capt America, ZOMBIES!

Kardashian Body Paint update!

Looks like the segment that I and my asstant Melanie painted the lovely sisters for will be airing possbly on the season premiere!?!?! I haven't got word from anybody but that's what it looks like according to the video on E!

I found it first on a blog post about it from examiner.com and from Gather entertainment.. buuuuuut I just found it on the E! website too....

here's a longer clip from E! WOW I look absolutely terrible when I concentrate!! why would they choose THAT angle ew, lol! but at least the girls look lovely :)

New York, New York!

Wow.. new york was quite a trip. Got 2 lovely models painted with Bobby Friedel in his studio saturday evening. One was a reptile / gecko type of design and the second was a leopard. These are to add to the Zebra that bobby and i did just under a year ago. We're hoping to have a whole beautiful animal series eventually. We went more for a fashion look than an animal look. no contact lenses, no animal noses and instead all the models have very striking lipstick instead of more realistic looking animal mouth painted on.

At the make up show on saturday with Cosmix school of make up artistry after a little bit of confusion with our model situation we got it all worked out. I painted one body and a few faces. The theme for this body paint was kind of a tribute to all the cute, girly things in the 80s; lisa frank, hearts, rainbows, etc. on the lovely Bella:

Monday painted another couple of faces. Then had more model issues but a friend of a friend came to the rescue and got downto her skivies for the sake of body art! Thanks Shaunie :) So I painted her in blues,greens and golds and got a chance to use my peacock headdress that I made! i'm pretty happy with the results.

This week is more prep for more paintings!!

This week is a busy one! Kids night face painting, a volley ball promo body paint gig for Corona Light 'wide open', a meeting with Academy of Glam, teaching for Cosmix then NEW YORK CITY!!

While I'm there I get to see my best friend Nicole (if anybody is in need of a designer you need her!!! ) check her out at La Sangre Llama . She's going to join me as I reunite with awesome photographerBobby Friedel to paint another couple of models as wild animals! Bobby and i collaborated for the Zebra photo here:

After that I get to work with the Lovely ladies of Cosmix school of makeup artistry for the NY makeup show!! I'll be body painting at their both for both days. We are going to have a blast and probably have some great pictures to post when I get home!

Body paint for the Kardashians!

I just found out we have the permission to post a little bit of info and pictures from the shoot we did a little while back for E!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with them and quite entertaining to see how a reality show films! Thanks to my mom Melanie who assisted me on this paint. We had to pre-cut some stencils for the paint job, paint them on, then cover the background in black to look like "a little black dress" on both Kardashian sister and their models who are also employed at the store in south beach.

Getting ready for tomorrow, lonnng all day face painting job with most of my favorite painters in south FL. Last year even a few of the great paintiers in central FL joined us. It's going to be a hard but hopefully fun day of work.
we're all working fir all star events at a children's trust event in Miami. If possibly I'll take a few pictures to post up here & maybe facebook.

Then HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all the moms out there :)

New Section on the site!!! BCABPP

I finally got the content together and asked my awesome web designer to add a section for the Breast Cancer Awareness Body Paint Project (BCABPP) !!! There you'll find a description of the project along with some of the photos that have been completed so far. It has been amazing to be a part of this and I can't wait to continue.

A big thank you to photographer Michael Colanero for including me as well as ALL of the amazing women who have participated so far.

Last weekend

Pam and I had the pleasure of painting at Photo Impressions Gallery in Wilton manors this past friday. The monthly Island CIty artwalk was going on so we got together with Richard Viola (gallery owner and photographer) and decided to add a little extra entertainment to it by painting one model each right there in the gallery for people to watch and then did a photo shoot after. We started around 7:30 pm and finished about 3 hours later (pam was a little quicker than me).

here are a couple photos taken with my iphone. I can't wait to see Richard's good qualtity photos! They'll be in my gallery as soon as they are edited.

Brithday party in boca with Marcela and I doing awesome face paint and James Changefeild doing balloons. THEN headed way down to miami for Earth Fest 2010 at Crandon park do to some free face & body painting!

Had a great time last night at a private corporate event With Drawing on People and the henna girl (thank youuu!!)

Getting things in order for this weekend and next week. So grateful to be busy!!

There are a few cool things in the work that I'll be posting more info about and/or you can check out the face book page for more details.

The brief run down is...

April 16 in Wilton Manors I will be body painting with Pam Trent @ Photo Impression Gallery - This is a free event for the public. We will each be painting a model for guests to watch and enjoy along with other artwork displayed in the Gallery

May 16-17 New York Make up Show. I will be Body Painting at the booth with Cosmix school of make up artistry on both days of the Powder group make up show at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan

May 27-30 Face and Body Art International Convention in orlando. I will be attending and painting in the competition on Sunday

June 26 - 27 Tattoo-la-palooza in miami. I will be a contestant in the body paint competition on Sunday June 27.
